Sails is a pendant that is intended to illuminate a dining room table.

This item is designed as an allegory on sailing. Three stylized sails made of metal covered with white gold reflect the light of six lanterns located on either side – to port and starboard – of them. In line with nautical custom, these lanterns are tinted green or red in each case.

When the lamp is switched off, the white gold of the sails is illuminated by the ambient light and breathes life into the composition. When it is switched on, it’s a complex mix of coloured and white light that strikes the sails while the direct light that illuminates the table remains white.
