The Hyperbole shelving unit combines the visual force of horizontal solid wood boards with the lightness of tilting metal rods that are positioned according to the generators of two hyperboloids of revolution and evocative of two solid pillars.

The arrangement of the steel rods produces a remarkably rigid whole. Each of them being set at a different angle in space, they brace one another and reinforce the statics of the shelving unit.
