The Hexagon set was created to meet the special furnishing needs of a medical practice.

The consulting room is quite large but long and narrow. The challenge was to produce a very compact desk that could be placed near the entrance and that would divide the space into two zones : consultation on one hand and an office corner on the other.

This requirement was met by using a desk top of a respectable size but having a hexagonal shape that enables the desk to be placed at a 30° angle to the wall, thus gaining space between it and the opposite wall.

This orientation and the creation of a bookcase that takes up the visual and material elements of the desk enable a zone to be defined that is immediately identified as reserved for the doctor.
