This wall composition plays with elements located on four different planes: gold-leaf panels detached from the wall and arranged according to a 3X3 grid, a light source focussed on each panel but located on a second plane, shades located on a third level and finally the wall itself.

The combination of all these elements produces a shadow-play on the wall independently of the viewing angle. The perception of the light reflected by the panels and partially masked by the shades depends on the position of the observer.

The overlaying of these effects is complex and mysterious.
